# Vestaboard vs Flyer™

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vestaboard at 71% against Flyer™'s 25%. Vestaboard also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.2) and ratings volume (140 vs 6). Flyer™'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vestaboard holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vestaboard has 140 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Vestaboard's written reviews are positive against 25% of Flyer™'s.

Vestaboard ships an update every 2 months, Flyer™ every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
