# Vestaboard vs iRESTORE

The clearest difference is ads: iRESTORE at none against Vestaboard's shown. iRESTORE also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Vestaboard's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (141 vs 13). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vestaboard holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vestaboard has 141 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 71% and 70% positive.

Vestaboard ships an update every 2 months, iRESTORE monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
