# Haptic Focus Timer vs Hybrid Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hybrid Timer at every 4 months against Haptic Focus Timer's every 11 months. Hybrid Timer also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Haptic Focus Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Hybrid Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Haptic Focus Timer ships an update every 11 months, Hybrid Timer every 4 months. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
