# Tessie vs Aris

Tessie and Aris both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Aris's written reviews are positive against 64% of Tessie's. Tessie's advantage is ratings volume (9.7K vs 30) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tessie sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Aris sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Tessie against 4.9 for Aris. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tessie has 9.7K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Tessie's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aris's.

Tessie ships an update weekly, Aris every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
