# STEPPI vs VIWELL

The clearest difference is rating: VIWELL at 5.0 against STEPPI's 4.4. VIWELL also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). STEPPI's advantage is ratings volume (130 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VIWELL holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STEPPI has 130 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

STEPPI ships an update weekly, VIWELL fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
