# BER Bausimulator vs Demagogue

The clearest difference is rating: Demagogue at 5.0 against BER Bausimulator's 3.0. Demagogue also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). BER Bausimulator's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BER Bausimulator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Demagogue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Demagogue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of BER Bausimulator's written reviews are positive against 95% of Demagogue's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BER Bausimulator ships an update fortnightly, Demagogue every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
