# Study Notes ABA vs myce pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: myce pro at freemium against Study Notes ABA's subscription. Study Notes ABA's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study Notes ABA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and myce pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Study Notes ABA against 5.0 for myce pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study Notes ABA has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Study Notes ABA ships an update every 5 weeks, myce pro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
