# Cynch Driver vs Guard+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Guard+ at every 3 weeks against Cynch Driver's every 3 months. Guard+ also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cynch Driver ships an update every 3 months, Guard+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
