# KStrong Compass™ vs Lytx Driver

The clearest difference is rating: Lytx Driver at 4.5 against KStrong Compass™'s 3.8. Lytx Driver also leads on ratings volume (462 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). KStrong Compass™'s advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 30%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lytx Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lytx Driver has 462 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of KStrong Compass™'s written reviews are positive against 30% of Lytx Driver's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KStrong Compass™ ships an update every 6 weeks, Lytx Driver every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
