# KStrong Compass™ vs Training Connect

The clearest difference is rating: KStrong Compass™ at 3.8 against Training Connect's 3.5. KStrong Compass™ also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Training Connect's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 50%) and ratings volume (43 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KStrong Compass™ holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Training Connect has 43 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of KStrong Compass™'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Training Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KStrong Compass™ ships an update every 6 weeks, Training Connect every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
