# Viya vs Art Dubai

The clearest difference is update cadence: Art Dubai at weekly against Viya's every 6 weeks. Art Dubai also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (50% vs 30%). Viya's advantage is ratings volume (356 vs 6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Viya against 4.7 for Art Dubai. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Viya has 356 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 30% of Viya's written reviews are positive against 50% of Art Dubai's.

Viya ships an update every 6 weeks, Art Dubai weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
