# Viya vs adv+

The clearest difference is rating: Viya at 4.6 against adv+'s 1.0. Viya also leads on ratings volume (348 vs 1). adv+'s advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 30%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Viya holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Viya has 348 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Viya's written reviews are positive against 57% of adv+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Viya ships an update every 6 weeks, adv+ every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
