# Perigold vs Homary

The clearest difference is monetization model: Homary at free against Perigold's free with in-app purchases. Homary also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Perigold's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (8K vs 965). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Perigold against 4.8 for Homary. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 965, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Perigold's written reviews are positive against 86% of Homary's.

Perigold ships an update weekly, Homary monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
