# Perigold vs INFĒRA

The clearest difference is monetization model: INFĒRA at free against Perigold's free with in-app purchases. INFĒRA also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 82%) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). Perigold's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 15) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Perigold against 5.0 for INFĒRA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Perigold's written reviews are positive against 100% of INFĒRA's.

Perigold ships an update weekly, INFĒRA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
