# Perigold vs ReSHIRT

The clearest difference is monetization model: ReSHIRT at free against Perigold's free with in-app purchases. ReSHIRT also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Perigold's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Perigold against 5.0 for ReSHIRT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Perigold ships an update weekly, ReSHIRT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
