# Perigold vs Fab Art

The clearest difference is ads: Perigold at none against Fab Art's shown. Perigold also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 8). Fab Art's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Perigold against 5.0 for Fab Art. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perigold has 8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Perigold ships an update weekly, Fab Art every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
