# Guichet vs Declic

The clearest difference is rating: Guichet at 4.8 against Declic's 2.8. Guichet also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (664 vs 6). Declic's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 31%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Declic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.00 per month. Guichet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Guichet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guichet has 664 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Guichet's written reviews are positive against 50% of Declic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guichet ships an update every 3 weeks, Declic fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
