# Twist vs Twist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Twist at 100% against Twist's 0%. Twist also leads on rating (4.4 vs 2.7) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Twist's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twist sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Twist sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Twist holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twist has 45 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 0% of Twist's written reviews are positive against 100% of Twist's.

Twist ships an update every 5 days, Twist every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
