# DraftDog vs Float

The clearest difference is update cadence: Float at every 2 days against DraftDog's weekly. DraftDog's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DraftDog sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Float sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DraftDog ships an update weekly, Float every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
