# ScamShield vs PRISM+ Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: PRISM+ Connect at every 2 days against ScamShield's every 2 months. PRISM+ Connect also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 2). ScamShield's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ScamShield holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of ScamShield's written reviews are positive against 50% of PRISM+ Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScamShield ships an update every 2 months, PRISM+ Connect every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
