# WH2o vs PRTnow

The clearest difference is ratings volume: WH2o at 1.8K against PRTnow's 23. PRTnow's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PRTnow holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WH2o has 1.8K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WH2o ships an update every 2 months, PRTnow fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
