# Event Countdown Tracker vs Project

The clearest difference is update cadence: Project at every 3 days against Event Countdown Tracker's every 4 months. Event Countdown Tracker's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Event Countdown Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Project sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Event Countdown Tracker ships an update every 4 months, Project every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
