# Friendly Wagers vs TierMaker.com

The clearest difference is rating: Friendly Wagers at 5.0 against TierMaker.com's 4.2. Friendly Wagers also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). TierMaker.com's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Friendly Wagers sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TierMaker.com sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Friendly Wagers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TierMaker.com has 1.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
