# WordSuccess vs Auditory Training

The clearest difference is rating: Auditory Training at 5.0 against WordSuccess's 3.0. Auditory Training also leads on ads (none vs shown). WordSuccess's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 0%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auditory Training sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. WordSuccess asks for nothing beyond the download.

Auditory Training holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WordSuccess has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of WordSuccess's written reviews are positive against 0% of Auditory Training's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
