# Addons for Minecraft vs Add

Addons for Minecraft and Add both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Addons for Minecraft's written reviews are positive against 33% of Add's. Addons for Minecraft also leads on ratings volume (38K vs 4K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Addons for Minecraft sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Add sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Addons for Minecraft against 4.5 for Add. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Addons for Minecraft has 38K ratings behind it against 4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Addons for Minecraft's written reviews are positive against 33% of Add's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
