# DMV WRITTEN TEST vs Awahe

The clearest difference is ads: Awahe at none against DMV WRITTEN TEST's shown. Awahe also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). DMV WRITTEN TEST's advantage is ratings volume (137K vs 8) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DMV WRITTEN TEST holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DMV WRITTEN TEST has 137K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of DMV WRITTEN TEST's written reviews are positive against 100% of Awahe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DMV WRITTEN TEST ships an update every 2 weeks, Awahe every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
