# Instant PGP vs OnionShare

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Instant PGP at 49 against OnionShare's 5. Instant PGP also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OnionShare holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Instant PGP has 49 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 54% of Instant PGP's written reviews are positive against 56% of OnionShare's.
