# Easy Notebook vs Simple Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple Note at every 2 days against Easy Notebook's every 3 months. Simple Note also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simple Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easy Notebook ships an update every 3 months, Simple Note every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
