# Aletthad vs Al Jazeera 360

The clearest difference is monetization model: Aletthad at free against Al Jazeera 360's free with in-app purchases. Aletthad also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Al Jazeera 360's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (893 vs 22). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Al Jazeera 360 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Al Jazeera 360 has 893 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Aletthad's written reviews are positive against 77% of Al Jazeera 360's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
