# Safeguard Global vs WeWork

The clearest difference is monetization model: Safeguard Global at free against WeWork's free with in-app purchases. Safeguard Global also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). WeWork's advantage is ratings volume (7.4K vs 3) and review sentiment (15% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Safeguard Global holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeWork has 7.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Safeguard Global's written reviews are positive against 15% of WeWork's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Safeguard Global ships an update fortnightly, WeWork every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
