# Sprewell Podcast vs éist

The clearest difference is rating: éist at 5.0 against Sprewell Podcast's 4.3. éist also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Sprewell Podcast's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

éist holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sprewell Podcast has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sprewell Podcast ships an update every 3 weeks, éist every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
