# Pony Education LIVE vs MTMasterclass

The clearest difference is monetization model: MTMasterclass at free with in-app purchases against Pony Education LIVE's subscription. Pony Education LIVE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 9 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pony Education LIVE sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and MTMasterclass sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pony Education LIVE ships an update every 5 weeks, MTMasterclass every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
