# Jebena vs AfroIntroductions

The clearest difference is update cadence: AfroIntroductions at weekly against Jebena's monthly. AfroIntroductions also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 1.7K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jebena sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and AfroIntroductions sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AfroIntroductions holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfroIntroductions has 13K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of Jebena's written reviews are positive against 44% of AfroIntroductions's.

Jebena ships an update monthly, AfroIntroductions weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
