# Launcher Control vs Mubview

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mubview at every 2 months against Launcher Control's every 5 months. Mubview also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Launcher Control sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mubview sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Launcher Control ships an update every 5 months, Mubview every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
