# MaxiVPN vs VPN Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VPN Tracker at 25 against MaxiVPN's 5. MaxiVPN's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaxiVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and VPN Tracker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for MaxiVPN against 4.3 for VPN Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Tracker has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MaxiVPN ships an update monthly, VPN Tracker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
