# MaxiVPN vs TikConnect

The clearest difference is rating: MaxiVPN at 4.2 against TikConnect's 1.0. MaxiVPN also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MaxiVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and TikConnect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MaxiVPN holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MaxiVPN has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MaxiVPN ships an update monthly, TikConnect every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
