# Bennie vs VidConnect

The clearest difference is rating: Bennie at 4.5 against VidConnect's 2.3. Bennie also leads on ratings volume (69 vs 4) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). VidConnect's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bennie holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bennie has 69 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bennie ships an update every 3 weeks, VidConnect every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
