# TimeCount vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Countdown Widget at none against TimeCount's 8. Countdown Widget also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 9 days) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). TimeCount's advantage is ratings volume (24K vs 4) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCount sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Countdown Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeCount has 24K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
