# TimeCount vs Almost

The clearest difference is ads: TimeCount at none against Almost's shown. TimeCount also leads on ratings volume (24K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Almost's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeCount sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Almost sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Almost holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeCount has 24K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TimeCount ships an update weekly, Almost every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
