# Drive Smarter vs PTTR Loadboard

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PTTR Loadboard at 80% against Drive Smarter's 24%. PTTR Loadboard also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). Drive Smarter's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (22K vs 14). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drive Smarter sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. PTTR Loadboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drive Smarter holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drive Smarter has 22K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Drive Smarter's written reviews are positive against 80% of PTTR Loadboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drive Smarter ships an update every 2 weeks, PTTR Loadboard weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
