# PotClock vs Voice Journal & Diary

PotClock and Voice Journal & Diary both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Voice Journal & Diary's written reviews are positive against 0% of PotClock's. Voice Journal & Diary also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). PotClock's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PotClock sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Voice Journal & Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PotClock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Journal & Diary has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of PotClock's written reviews are positive against 100% of Voice Journal & Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PotClock ships an update every 2 days, Voice Journal & Diary every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
