# Smart Tasks vs Daily Tasks

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Smart Tasks at 4.5K against Daily Tasks's 3. Smart Tasks also leads on device support (4 vs 1). Daily Tasks's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Tasks sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Daily Tasks sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily Tasks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Tasks has 4.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Smart Tasks's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daily Tasks's.

Smart Tasks ships an update fortnightly, Daily Tasks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
