# Tot Pocket vs AfterShift

The clearest difference is rating: AfterShift at 5.0 against Tot Pocket's 4.4. AfterShift also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Tot Pocket's advantage is ratings volume (237 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tot Pocket sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AfterShift sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AfterShift holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tot Pocket has 237 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tot Pocket ships an update every 3 weeks, AfterShift every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
