# Brain Sharp vs N

The clearest difference is ads: N at none against Brain Sharp's shown. N also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (237 vs 24). Brain Sharp's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brain Sharp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and N sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Brain Sharp against 4.7 for N. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: N has 237 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Brain Sharp ships an update every 4 months, N monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
