# File manager vs EZ File Explorer

The clearest difference is rating: File manager at 4.5 against EZ File Explorer's 3.8. File manager also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (30% vs 0%). EZ File Explorer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months).
