# Neural Reader vs ApplySmartly

The clearest difference is monetization model: ApplySmartly at free with in-app purchases against Neural Reader's subscription. ApplySmartly also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Neural Reader's advantage is ratings volume (493 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neural Reader sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and ApplySmartly sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ApplySmartly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Neural Reader has 493 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
