# Tempedia vs Pal Guide

The clearest difference is rating: Pal Guide at 4.3 against Tempedia's 3.3. Pal Guide also leads on ratings volume (180 vs 25). Tempedia's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tempedia sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Pal Guide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pal Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pal Guide has 180 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 45% and 44% positive.
