# Extra Market vs Hotsale

The clearest difference is rating: Extra Market at 4.9 against Hotsale's 4.4. Extra Market also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 17). Hotsale's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Extra Market holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Extra Market has 1.3K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Extra Market's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hotsale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Extra Market ships an update every 9 days, Hotsale fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
