# Altruist Client vs Wing App

Altruist Client and Wing App both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Wing App's written reviews are positive against 50% of Altruist Client's. Altruist Client's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 13) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Altruist Client against 4.9 for Wing App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Altruist Client has 1.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of Altruist Client's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wing App's.

Altruist Client ships an update fortnightly, Wing App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
