# Pocket Note vs NoteEase

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pocket Note at free with in-app purchases against NoteEase's subscription. NoteEase's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
